01

FITNESS

Each class starts with movement and conditioning: bodyweight warmups, footwork, grip checks, swing form, and alignment. Inspired by Indian club training, Saberfiit builds grip strength, shoulder mobility, and wrist resilience using a modular hilt that connects to weighted bottles for scalable resistance. Beginners can jump in, ease in, or simply observe at their own pace.

What you gain: mobility, strength, resilience, and a workout unlike anything at the gym.

02

SKILLS

After you’re warmed up, it’s time to learn the essential skills for your lightsaber. From basic forms and body movement to more advanced synchronous and asynchronous techniques, there will always be something new and challenging during this phase. Every skill builds on the last, so progress feels earned and steady as you go.

What you gain: technique, control, muscle memory, and a foundation you keep building on.

03

SABERFLOW

The middle of class is Saberflow: slow partner drills where two sabers move in sync. You mirror, react, and build timing, coordination, and awareness together. It’s social, meditative, and impossible to do alone. This is the phase where individual skill becomes shared rhythm, and where most people first feel the flow that gives the class its name.

What you gain: reaction time, precision, focus, and a sense of connection through movement.

04

DUELING

The final section is where everything comes together. We begin with simple 5×5 attack-and-defense drills, then progress into Lumina®, a live choreographed saber sport where trained partners perform cinematic combat in real time using memorized sequences and silent cues. It is demanding, expressive, and genuinely fun to watch and to do.

What you gain: confidence, timing, creativity, and the feeling of turning combat into art.

Marcus Dickinson

Lead Instructor

A saber, my driveway, my neighbour and my nephews. That’s where this started. We trained for years before it had a name.

Two things became obvious: it’s a real workout, and it’s a community before it’s anything else. What we also realized is that nothing like it exists for someone walking alone into fitness for the first time.

Saberfiit is the place I wish had existed. No belt, no level, no judgment. Come find us. Bring someone if you can.

Bring Saberfiit to Your Group

Camps, teams, charities, classrooms. If you’ve got a group that would move better together, we’ll come to you. No experience needed, no gear to buy, every session built around the people in the room.
